All you need for this is the spell Create Food.

I found this accidentally when I hit buy/sell mistakenly at the inn. Buluga Caviar will go for 327 (depending on mercantile).

Normally, it comes out every three times from casting the spell once you have sold it.

You can make money even faster in the Lost Archipelagos expansion. As soon as you get on the island, find the Mayor and play cards. You can bet up to 10k. Save after every win and reload if you lose. Make sure you've got Mark and Recall.

Or you could just go talk to the fisher girl on the beginning island in I believe HOL1, and buy caviar from her, then mark and teleport to an inn, sell them all, and repeat. If it isn't HOL1 correct me.

Yep. This will allow you to make mass amounts of money and requires only a couple thousand to start. Also, it is more reliable (guaranteed success rather than chance of creating moldy bread) and efficient than casting "create food", which consumes SP, forcing you to spend money to recover it.
