As far as the story goes...I'm lost...

I just started playing luko 1 about an hour ago and I'm SO confused, every npc is talking to my character like they've met him before (e.g: asking if he remembers them or their relatives), so it makes me wonder if I was supposed to start on the lukomoryes after islands of ice and fire... because I did...

Yes this expansion follows after fire and ice, although I think some of the charecters might have known you when you were young and do never seen them before

Just pretend you have amnesia, and nobody else knows that. Or you met them all while you were drunk.
