i'm quite confused with the amount of expansions there are. i go onto youtube and see some called "Terror's returnal" and other such names. Are these real expansions? can i purchase these?
Also, i've heard of some way to create my own expansion, where can i do this and is it real?

Yup, there are several expansions that weren't released on iOS.
You can embed them to the PC/PPC versions.
Here's the list of such expansions I have in my possession:
- Terror's Returnal
- Casper's Ghostly Tormentors
- FOTR
- The Gauntlet
- SW Tantive IV
- Old Hag
- Orinteering Isle
You can find most of them by Googling.
There's plenty of expansions on the app store, though

We all have phases. : ) There are a lot of expansions that we made, some that others made. You could make one too with the editor.
