Thurm's Buried Treasure Problems

So, I've completed Thurm's buried treasure quest all the way up to talking to Solomon digging up the treasure. However, it's been days and when I talk to him, there isn't an option for asking about the treasure. Is there a hug or am I missing something?

No, resting to pass time. Should take 2 days I think (been a while) but it may take an extra depending on the time you gave him the map due to the game rounding up the time needed.

Do you lose the map item after you talk to him the first time?

Never mind. I figured it out. I need the half of the map to talk to him about it. I think I dropped it somewhere so I can't complete the quest.

Nah. The only thing that does bug me is having a quest I can't complete. Is there any way to fix it?

Load a save before you dropped it if a week has gone by. The map piece will disappear after 1 week of in game time. Unless that much time has not passed your out of luck. The reward isn't great if I remember it's only a couple grand.
