Thanks for the nice words, Rasghost!
Of course we'll try to do our best, as always, but can't have time for anything at once... Which means the old, lo-res iOS version will not have the updates the new hi-res version has, at least not in the near future.

Ah That's too bad. I've purchased the Palm, iOS, and just today the Steam version. Was hoping that the high-res version might come to the iPhone but once you mentioned nothing else is compatible yet it makes sense. Unfortunate, but understandable...
The high-res version is excellent though. We're talking a MASSIVE improvement in view distance and menu management etc. I feel like I'm playing a new game. Always knew this game would shine with this kind of polish, so glad to see you guys have done so.
Any plans to start The Quest 2 now that you've got this engine and the assets handy? And any plans to ever get the HD game running on Android? Android is just starving for a game like this... I hate that piracy has turned so many developers off from the platform... I flip between Android and iOS devices all the time and my only complaint these days with Android is a massive lack of great games.

Yeah, it's a bit unfortunate. There are a bit too many versions of The Quest. But there is just no good way to make them one version. We'll certainly try keep The Quest 2 as one version. Actually the new HD version will come to iPads. And to Android, hopefully. The plans are to create a Mac version, then an iPad version and then an Android version. We'll start The Quest 2 as soon as possible. But it's still quite a bit off.

Well, the new PC version (which is the only one I have played) is really good! Judging by the amount of feedback Redshift is getting over on the Steam discussion board, and the number of updates coming out, it will be a while before the Ipad version sees the light of day. Wait and see, hey. I imagine the developers are running like crazy just to keep up!

Question:
In a previous post you responded to me that the iPad port should be ready one month after the PC release. I assume that timetable is no longer accurate with the Mac version next up.
What is the iPad ETA? I have the iPhone version but am dying to replay it in HD

Who said one month? I'm fairly certain it wasn't me... At least not for that certain. Anyway, I've just started working on the Mac version recently. The iPad version is quite a bit off yet. We'll announce it for sure. Actually, since quite recently, we have Twitter (twitter.com/RedshiftHU). I'll try to not forget using it. That should be the fastest way to get notified of major announcements.

We have written to GOG twice now. They haven't answered yet. We'll wait a little bit more, but it seems they don't want us, unfortunately.
We'll look at other online stores, but I think they are quite insignificant, compared to Steam and GOG, so it's not clear we'll use them. Not to mention, Desura, one of the better known ones went bankrupt recently, so it can be risky.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,...... I can feel it in my bones. The Quest, iPad edition is almost done. Though I do have some arthritis in my old bones these days.....perhaps they are sending me wrong messages
