Heavy weapon vs light weapon

why is there so little love for heavy weapons in favor of light weapons?

As a nogur I prefer heavy weapons. Some that I found have a higher base damage than light, although lighter means you can carry more. I also prefer heavier armor.

It's because as a stat dexterity is much better than strength. Strength only really helps heavy weapon and carry weight whereas dexterity helps everything from block to lock pick to light weapon.

What Blackjack stated is true. Moreover, (at least for the first 20 levels or so) light equipment, both weapons and armors, tend to have a higher enchant storage, meaning that you are anle to augment them to your needs more effectively.

I think you can enjoy Strength more if you like hoarding items, as it yields more carrying capacity than the Dexterity attribute does. Both make you powerful, anyway.

Not sure why but I always use heavy armor and heavy weapons. Also I usually do this as a siery.
