What does the spell curse do

I think it lowers the enemy's damage during a combat (it depends on your Mind Magic skill), while the spell "Undead Curse" lowers the enemy's level. I can't tell you exact details because the programmer of these spells left us long ago, but if you use the spell "Detect Mind" before and after casting Curse, you can see the effect on the enemy's attributes.

Sadly, even using Detect Mind doesn't show what Curse does. I tried using DM, snapping a screenshot, and then used Curse and took another screenshot. After comparing them, all stats are the same. All that was added was "Cursed (3 turns)".

In spite of this, it does seem like Curse lowers an enemy's attacking power.

Is your Mind Magic skill high enough? Because higher skill level means higher Detect Mind effect so you can see more attributes with casting this spell.
