I am looking for some good spells to kill the shamans in the forest, I can visit any town to get spells so anywhere is fine, also what is the strongest spell

Well the strongest spells I can think of would by lighting storm/fireball/smite foe.

Try equippping gear enchanted with resist magic or making/buying some resistance magic potions to deal with those shamons. And use ranged spells like magic missile,fireball,poision cloud etc.
