Expansions question

I have the quest gold and a couple of the expansions. I know that if you run the expansion, it adds them to the main game, but can you delete the expansion from your phone after that and still have the expansion in game?

Yes, you can. If you delete the expansion app, it will remain in the base game.

I wondered something else. If you delete the expansion after you attach it to the main game do you still get the updates for that expansion if there is one? In other words does the app store realize you still have it "installed" even though the expansion itself is not currently on your phone? And what does attaching an expansion do to the size of the Main Game app? Is there a chance that having too many expansions attached could crash your Main Game? If so, how could you remove an expansion attachment? And would you want to? I guess some of those answers depend on how much memory your device has. I hope so because I revisit some of the shops after I complete an expansion just to get higher end items for enchanting while playing another expansion. Oh. The Quest version of Mall hopping. LOL!
