If I remeber correctly, go did the bubbling pond, attack it, then follow te walls looking for a path curing into a stoned pathway. Walk down it, destroy the web, defeat the 3 skeletons, and grab the book and skeleton (if doing matras infection), and leve up the ladder. DO NOT touch the crypt unless you want a challenge, as a ghoul appears beholden you... (but if you manage to kill the ghoul, the xp is good)

The crypt itself is to th west. You wil ned some rope found in the port area once you ahve it speak to the innkeeper.
You have 20 save slots use them all. Save after every quest, save before going into a dungeon, save, save save!!

You will start leveling up quite fast as you go through cursed chess set and celtic rift and the first couple hols then slow down after that, at least I did.
