Hey everybody,
I was wondering if anyone could offer advice/tips for dual wielding. I'm level 18 on the first Quest (just got to the final part), and will be headed to Islands of Ice and Fire soon. Are there better dirks/shortswords, ones that can be enchanted?

There's a better short sword in the expansion. You arrive not far off from the city of Eldfell so you can do some shopping before beating something or someone up.
