How do you make them? I received the book from the old farmer and I had that question. The book said something bout dipping arrow in flowers but how am I supposed to do that? Will I get some kind of cauldron later on? Do I have to make poison potions? Then what?

Nope, it's one of those useless books that you think you can use. You CAN, however, enchant arrows with poison, although I don't recommend it bit gets pricey, and it isn't as useful as paralysis.
