This is a thread for stating something cool or unique you just really love about the quest. It doesn't matter if it's already been said, just say what you really love about The Quest.
For me it would the card game, the sky and open-ness of it.

I love the variation in the storylines throughout the expansions.
I also love how easy yet hard it is to make your very own expansion and how redshift allows the means of doing so free to people!

Well just to say about what I DON'T like about the quest (sorry) I don't like how hat it is to separate all of the story lines in the game I you have quest gold. I'm really slow, so it's hard for me to remember what is what and if you get weapons and stuff in another expansion, you can't do much with it when you go to a different expansion.

As I said in response to another thread, I love that this is a single-player, turn-based RPG game with a rich plot line, diverse, detailed, and open world to explore, which doesn't require endless grinding to get anywhere. The focus is on progressing the story and strategy. It is a bit fristrating to get started, but after the initial hump (and many visits to these forums) it moves along nicely.

I love how easy it is to get into! It's one of those RPGs that are easy to pick up and learn the basics, the quest has very diverse features while being very simple...I love it! I think this is the best rpg I have ever played for iOS....it kinda
reminds me of an older rpg called "daggerfall"

I love "Pierogi"

Abbey of Thule remains me of Umberto Eco's "The name of the rose". I love this book.

VERY good, Goostaw - this expansion was heavily influenced by that book and movie. : ) For more info about Ice and Fire's creating, you can read this topic where I also mention The Name of the Rose (just scroll down a bit):

Hmm. Well I was searching for an awesome rpg that I could play on my iPhone after beating jagex's undercroft a couple of times. I googled top iOS RPGs and the quest came up. I am so glad I did that! The quest is hands down the best RPG on iOS to date, in my opinion. I've played the base game twice already and discovered multitudes of missed quests and areas that I had missed before. The replay value on this game is great and the expansions... Well wow there are so many of them I love it. I love this game!! Just wish my battery could hold up to it lol.

Yes, it is truly a game that gets better every time you play it. You notice new details and develop or refine new and better strategies, habits.

I agree with what everyone is saying, It has IMMENSE replay value, and I do find things I've missed each time I play! I'm going to try the other characters in future games. For example, I want to work more with duel-wield and the Mage character. And now with Quest2 coming up, looks like we're all going to be busy Questing! :]

By the way, Undercroft was strongly influenced by Quest's prequel, Legacy. I still remember when its developers wrote us that they loved so much Legacy back in 2003-2005 that they started to work on a similar game, and it was Undercroft. : )
Frotunately nowadays the classic dungeon crawler genre is getting alive again. Somebody here on this forum wrote about a new site called dungeoncrawlers.org where the people are trying to collect all crawler games together with a toplist, short reviews, etc. Here you can check all games in their release order too, so you can see that around the mid '90s the whole genre disappeared, and Legacy was the first game which started it again in 2004, after almost 10 years of silence. It was well received (better than TQ at that time) and hopefully they (Legacy and TQ) had some little role in reactivating the whole genre. It's soo good to see that in 2014 we again can see games like this out there and many more new titles are now under development.

Wow, that's pretty cool that jagex wrote that to you. I do like undercroft a lot, and that's neat that they took inspiration from your game.

Undercroft was made by a Czech developer group called Rake in Grass, not Jagex. : )

Did jagex buy it? Because when I open the game it says jagex.

I didn't know Undercroft was influenced by Legacy!.. I've played Undercroft, I enjoyed that game!..Congratulations on Legacy being such an influence in bringing back dungeon crawler games, I've always enjoyed these kinds of games. And I agree, TQ has certainly sparked ideas for future titles like these! Long live these kinds of games and you guys are a major reason that this is so!
