How many spells are there because I am making a Mage. Also what are the best undead spells?

It has a spell list which contains all spells from the game.
(Of course this is just about the main game - the expansion packs have new spells too.)

Where can I find the expansion spells?

There isn't really a list of them as there is so many expansions each with 6+ new spells.
