Also I was wondering, the cost of spells is going up, why's that? Do I have to make sure I increase int faster than magic skills?

Flowers- do not respawn, I don't think. Sucks.
Spells- if you mean the cost in gold, better spells cost more coins. If you mean in MP cost, then this is your answer- as you raises your skills with specific spell types (attack magic, etc.) they become more powerful. As they become more powerful, they cost more. To offset this you can enchant items to give more MP or increase your intelligence, as you said.
-Hope this helps!

				Yeah,, thanks man.
I thought that too but I don't think the strength is going up, might be my imagination but stone skin is getting weaker I'm sure it used to raise 12 ac but only raises 11 now but dunno if I'm imaging things. What do the armor skills do, increase ac?

Yes, if you wear that type of armor. And remember, it is a quadratic formula that determines the bonus, so your AC/ spell bonus will barely increase until you've put a lot of points in, but then will gradually, and finally rapidly, increase.

If my memory serves me right, I think everything (monsters, plants, loot, etc.) respawns every seven (or was it three? Can't really remember :/ ) days in game time. Just sleep for seven days and everything will have respawned. Also, as you go to better towns and cities in the base game, the prices increase (i.e., because of higher quality sold). Same goes for spellbooks and stuff.
Edit: Just did a check with the plant thing and apparently I am mistaken; monsters and loot (on the ground) respawn, but plants do not. And it was a week, not three days.
