I started out as a seiry with: Light Weapon, Heavy Armor, Block, Stealth, Mercantile, and Lockpick. It gave me an amethyst gem, What do i use it for?

Sell it in Vastares.

Is that all its used for? If it is then why does the jewler sell them?

Someone has to, I guess. There may be the occasional mission that needs one or something but basically they are in dungeons to provide an alternative to gold.

I collect them. I haven't sold anything (except smuggling caviar) since I got a house. Some may call me a hoarder... I call it prepared. I hope to be able to supply & finance my own personal war someday. I just glad there is no PWS (dept of Potions, Weapons & Spells) here, or I'd be in big trouble. I'm not even sure if my pardon could get me outta that one.
