What does AC stand for?

I'ma knowin that it has gotta do with armor but what does it stand for?

It stands for Armor Class and it the total defense of all your armor which will lower the damage taken in battle.

Idk But I think it takes that number pf damage from an attack.
EXAMPLE: You have 15 AC, and 20 HP. The enemy has 25 attack, but you only get hit by 10.

No, it is not that simple. It takes a mathematical formula, I am pretty sure.
