The Challenging Quest!

Postby Firr Wulf » Thu Mar 27, 2014 4:21 pm

I am a major rpg fan and like loved mainly the elder scrolls but when i stumbled pon the quest i was really surprised how the elder scrolls was based on the rpg structure of the quest.

but anyways what the point of my post is actauly im just kinda surprised with challenging nature of the game
so i beat the original quest with alot of side quest done
i got 6 of the expansions
celtic queen and doom
hol1
elemental asteroids
isalnd of ice and fire
the lost aechiepolaghes
i was just wondering if any quest veteran would like give some tips to lvl up cuz some of the expansions req a really high lvl so how to reach that? Cuz i beat the original and only reached lvl 15 just enough for hol1
But im having alot of problems cuz the savarian dudes r like really slow to die i have a battlemage class so i use both weapons and magic.
And also what r the best swords i mean im stuck at kings ls for a long time.
oh ya and gold coins rnt an issue so any suggestions?

Alright, magic isnt that effective in higher level expansions, simply b/c enemies have very high magic resistance (typically around 100% or so). Also, you can check out islands of ice and fire to get to a higher level than you are right now, hope this was useful!

Let's make it clear: The Quest has some similar skills/spells, so not the Elder Scrolls was based on our game. : ) Stewe, who was the game engine programmer of TQ was a big Elder Scrolls fan so those similarities were coming from him.

As for the expansions: you should start with the official expansion (Islands of Ice and Fire), as Prickett already suggested. That one continues the main storyline and has a difficulty level which was designed for a "just finished the main game" type of person like you. : )

Try the Mithril Horde expansions. : ) I think you will enjoy them and get stronger. : )
