Look I know that this game was trying to get on steam a few years ago,but now with early access,and greenlight the quest would get on steam in no time.

I mean I own all the quest games on my i pod but I would totaly buy the game to add it to my steam library.

I mean there is many worse games then the quest on steam,there is cheap and really badly made games.The quest would have no issue getting on, I mean The 0.5% made earth year 2066 got on it.

As a long time fan of redshifts games I would really love them to try to get there games on steam.

Just call it like the quest collection and have all the quest games and expansions,like the ones by Zarista Games,and of course islands of ice and fire.

You could also have a option to buy them one at a time.

This would get you lots of more sales because its on steam and would not require much work because you guys all ready have a good amount of games.

I think steam could use this type of rpg and would get some retro gamer's eyes And with them all ready on the appstore it cant be to hard to get them on steam.

You guys have nothing to lose by trying again,you can all ready get the games on windows how hard could it be to try to get them on steam?

I know that the sequel will be on Steam, and the first game is a little old to bother putting up there.

I think the biggest problem with distributing the quest through steam green man etc. is the lack of "support". The fact that the graphics were drawn and not rendered is the other problem, that & the highly inefficient code. It just isn't economically feasible and honestly the best course of action redshift could take would be to do exactly what they are doing, a spiritual successor/"sequel". If anything, we should consider ourselves lucky to have even an ios version (a digital distro platform that has more users than ANY other). That being said, thank you redshift! I love your game, it's like revisiting the early nineties interplay/Sierra golden age. Eh, I'm getting nostalgic.... Totally going to go fire up my first gen pentium rig complete with 12 Meg's of ram and a 800 meg hdd. Also, what they have to "lose" would be opportunity costs (and tangible costs). Every bit of effort they would potentially pour into getting a build ready for steam would rob them of he ability to devote the time/energy/resources necessary to deliver their next game in a timely fashion, or even worse it could bankrupt them. Consider this, they get the quest on steam and then they only sell a couple hundred copies. That could be a financial setback that could literally wipe out a company the size of redshift. So my advice is this, please stop bringing this up. Nobody other than redshift is in a position to understand what is best for their firm, and although I'm sure it makes them happy to know that people want to support their company I guarantee they would prefer that each and every one of us started looking towards the future.

P.s. Please don't take anything I said as offensive, I just really want to get my hands on the quest 2 and I want it now

But still, this possibility (bringing TQ to Steam) is still under discussion at Redshift. So I can't promise anything but probably one day TQ (with a slightly better engine) will see the light at Steam too.
