It says i need a key.. Where do i get it or how do i get in?

There is a man just outside the dungeon entrance. He will give you a key.

If you mean the store room, you should've gotten a key from the thief next to hole that leads downward. If you didn't get the key, it's either that you didn't speak to him, or you said you didn't trust him.

It's not a huge deal if you can't get in, but there is the potential for some good loot there, so if you have a recent save, it may be worth getting the key.

Also, a quick tip, before making choices in dialogue, save so you can weigh the benefits of both options.

Presumably, yes, but not 100% sure. Lock picking is not the most reliable skill, especially til you get it to at least 50.

When picking a lock, it will tell you what chance of success you will have. It will say Slight, Average, Good, etc. depending on your lock picking skill. Save before picking locks incase it fails or you lose all of your lock picks in the attempt. Very few doors, if any, can't be picked but many will require a very high lock picking skill.
