Some newbie questions.

Hi guys, I'm totally, totally loving this gsme. Got a few questions though.

1. Can't seem to find mark and recall spells ? Where do I get them, they would be useful.

2. I'm playing an undead with undead magic and generally prefer an evil style of play, but as I'm complete missions my fame rises. This is surely a bad thing no ?

3. I'm level 7, but finding the current quests beyond me. The cyclops in the skulls quest, the teleportor opened on the western pier, wipe the floor with me, but I'm grinding world map baddies for now. Seems wrong though in a game you can't progress on currently available quests. I'm strong in heavy weapons, heavy armor, undead magic and block, but seem weak against baddies I'm meant to quest against now. But I'd rather too hard than too easy, I'll keep trying.

Thanks in advance for any help.

John.

Mark and Recall can be found in the Magic Shop in Matras, just keep trying. Shops change their wares every day so you can start a new day, save your game before entering the shop, and then reload if the shop doesn't have what you're looking for.

The thing about the quests, you have to make sure you do all the quests in the town of Matras, then tackle the tougher ones that take you out of Matras. And fame has very little effect on what you do in the game, so don't worry about it.

sunken monastary is hard enough WITHOUT being an undead, but the undead has very low magic res and monsters have high magic attack so i would upgrade int a LOT before you try to beat it

Yes, and also be aware that the Rasvim is not the best for new players. So if you find to difficult to play as, just switch to a different class. (I recommend the Nogur)
