stop the matras infection

i've done this before but know i forgot
i go to the cementary and into the hole and then what.
i go up to the coffin and turn around and defeat the ghost.
the alchemist says its vonrable to fire so i use burning hand on the coffin: nothing
i use a scroll of fireball on the coffin: nothing
what am i ment to do?

You have to go to the other crevice like area, and attack the rocks with your weapon, or use a fire based spell.

When he says that it is weak to fire, though, read it as magic damage. There are no elemental modifiers in the game.
