You can check the level each expansion is targeted for I think in iTunes in the Appstore so that gives you some information. There are some posts about that here and at my website I think.

You can get to our Zarista expansions from different towns--Matras or Mithria--Mithria is our high level games--Matras our low level games--we have series that start off low level and then get higher level.

It's basically your decision.

You can play Mithril Horde from a low level and then move on to Horde II if you like exotic environments.

You can and should start the HOL series AFTER finishing the base game and Ice and Fire unless you like to run for your life in which case you could take a chance with HOL1 after you finish the base game but you really would have to run, run, run. : ) That's how I did it as HOL1 was our first expansion and I played it after finishing the Base game just for fun. I quickly learned where and how to hide but it was a challenge. So that depends on whether you like challenges like that. : )

You can start Cursed Chess Set at a low level.

You can start the Celtic series from a low level and go on.

You can start Elemental Asteroids and Escape from Asteroids from a low level and then Attack from Asteroids after you are a higher level.

I forget what else. : )

Basically check the description for the game and look at what level is targeted in the iTunes description and then decide what kind of world you'd like to enter.

HOL series is medieval.

Horde series is exotic medieval.

Asteroids series is sci fi/medieval. : )

And Celtic series is just that---Celtic gods and heroes.
