Hi! I wonder if anyone can please tell me which enchantments are best, (IE: will fetch the most money,) to put on weapons and armour that I've found/gotten from enemies, and want to sell?

Thanks in advance! ;)

Whatever you add to an item as an enchantment has no effect on the sale price as far as I know.

If you enchant your Mercantile skill you can buy low and sell high.

Hi! Thanks for replying! :)

The type of enchantment does appear to have an effect on how much an item will sell for. I bought 2 identical robes. The first I enchanted with +14 Magic Resistance, the second with +20 Environment Magic. The shopkeeper gives the first robe a sale price of 1749 gold, and the second a price of 1387 gold.

Am I correct in thinking I enchant my mercantile skill by wearing something that raises my personality stats?

Maybe, but it is much more efficient to build a "mercantile set", as it is commonly known, than it is to build a "personality set". As for what sells for the most, I don't remember as I haven't needed to enchant for profit in quite a long time.

Yeah, I always felt really well off in my funds. I was never really lacking too much anywhere in the game.

There may be times, especially after you update your arsenal (or blow 50,000 gold on training in a new town :)) when it seems that you are low on money, but completing a dungeon should refill your coffers quickly.

Since you seem to be more concerned with enchanting the loot that you obtain in dungeons, I will do a comprehensive testing of this and get back with you.
