First of all, thank you! Thank you for finally releasing this masterpiece for android so that android users, both new and old can experience it once more!

Secondly, many of us tablet owners own more than one tablet. For example, I own a galaxy note and also the galaxy tab. Would it be possible to implement a cloud save feature so that we can continue our adventure on a different device?

With this many different devices for Android, problems are inevitable and first I'd like to make sure that the game works for as many people as possible.

But after that, yes, Cloud save support (and Achievements) are planned. :)

Will you also integrate play games?

Achievements and save synchronization to the cloud will be implemented with Google's "Play Games" services, yes. Otherwise I don't understand the question. :? There doesn't seem to be any other feature of Play Games which would be relevant to The Quest.

Most of the game should already be on your external storage. In "Android/obb/hu.redshift.thequest/main.4.hu.redshift.thequest.obb". ;) But I'll see what I can do.

My deepest and most gloriously grateful greetings as well! I have missed the Quest for 8 years... that's nearly a decade now, since I moved to Android (yes, I bought the OG G1, son) and my final Palm lifedrive hit the white screen of death for the last time.

I have to admit I have longed for this game and now that ti have it I want all the expansion's. Somewhere I have a notebook full of alchemical recipes, tips, hints, notes, maps. This was my life.

I'm so glad you gathering suggestions here. For now, I don't have many. I find the old school movement mechanism awkward and would love to used screen gestures as a back up, but who I am kidding? I am just so glad to have the Quest back again!! thank you, thank you, thank you!.

I too want to extend my intense gratitude for my favorite RPG finally being released on Android!!! Thank you so much Redshift! :)

I am in love with the upgraded graphics and UI upgrades. For your excellent work, I extend many accolades to Redshift for improving an already 5 star game. As another fan already stated...... It is now 6 stars:) !!

Anyhow, I do have a few curiosities to share.

As I know you are preparing to release Islands of Fire and Ice in the near future (hopefully today... Jk!) I was wondering if Redshift has ever considered creating a second official expansion to compliment Fire and Ice? I am equally a fan of Catacombers contributions, through her multitudes of exemplary Quest expansions, and I also hope to see everyone of those plus new ones Cat might have brewing in her beautiful brain:) That being said, do you have a time table on future releases you might be willing to share with us (I know I'm like a kid before Christmas here). Is the new editor as user friendly as the old one? I ask that only because if it is, hopefully the barrier to entry on these expansions won't be so difficult.

Thanks for being amazing game developers!

After we had the time to add what we can to the Android version (Achievements, cloud sync, the expansion :)), we'll work on Steamworks integration for the Steam version. That includes updating the editor to be usable, which it is not right now. Then hopefully everyone (including Catacomber) can create expansions for the Steam version. And if/when there is a noteworthy expansion for Steam, we can talk with the creator(s) to bring it to iOS and Android.

But that is a bit off yet, it'll take quite a lot of work to update the editor and add Steamworks integration.

Whenever it's ready. It might be ready in a week. I expect a bit more, though. ;) But it should be ready in this month.

It would be nice if the save/load screen automatically highlighted the latest save. I get tired of hitting page up / down.

Great game!

Well, almost always the autosave is the latest, so you only need to tap "Continue game" when you start the game. (While you are in game, the current save/load screen is remembered.)
