I just want an idea of how much content was added. I've heard that quests were added but I want to know if it's really worth it. Has there been any gameplay/balancing? Will magic be better than it was in classic in the later expansions of HD? Or is it basically the same game? Thanks

In Islands of Ice and Fire the main quest was reworked and a few additional quests were added.

Later expansions are more or less are by Zarista Games. They have started working on updating them. I, of course, cannot guarantee anything, but I think (hope) they'll rework them in regard of magic viability.
