I have meat and apples but i dont know how to eat them

Food is consumed when you tap and confirm the "Rest" icon. Anything with description of 'Comestible' is consumed upon every action of resting. 1 item of food and 1 unit of water are used everytime resting commences. It is best to carry a moderate amount of food and water to keep the "Rest" option available, but still an average amount so as not to take up too much space. Hope I helped?

I only carry one food item and one item of water...I find the rest option unnecessary but that's just me
