Witch Queen quest

So I killed the goblin chief, lost the witch hammer and am seemingly stuck in the witches empire. Is there a way out or will I need to restart the game? (yes I have no saved games that can get me prior to poisoning the goblin chief)

What do you mean with 'stuck'? A door closed behind you? You can't go back where you entered in the dungeon? Please be more specific, write about the exact place you are standing now. I don't think you have to restart the game, probably you only can't solve the sidequest related to the queen.
