I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question (and I know It will) but what the hell do cursed, plagues, and infections do? I've used them on monsters and they do not seem to suffer any negative effects whatsoever, they do not take more damage, they do not slowly die, they aren't paralyzed, and these spells cost a lot to cast, and it's not like I'm a weak character either, I'm a pure rasvim battlemage, I barely touch strength, endurance, or skills other than undead magic, attack magic, mind magic, ect.. So can someone please tell me what these spells are supposed to be doing?

Plague decreases your dexterity, endurance and strength by 10, Warrt only decreases strength by 5. So they don't damage monsters, just reduce their attributes.
If you have been really too busy, And you feel your head being dizzy, It's recommended to have a rest, I have a good offer-play the Quest! : )

You're welcome. Diseases impress the player only.

If you chose to use a magic defense, go with calm, it works every time
