Shaman's Three Skulls quest help!

So, to get the third skull you need to give 500 gold and a book from the shaman's storeroom. I plundered all of the storerooms and took all of the booty. Unfortunitly I dropped most of the books, including the one i need, thinking they were worthless once read. I've retraced my steps everywhere and I cant't seem to find the book. Is there anyway I can get the book again or forfeit the quest and try again?

I would just reload back in this case. Are you sure you asked for the book from Shaman?

Oh you have to ask him for it?!?! I thought it might have been the red book in the "chamber of blood" or w/e.
