Just downloaded Celtic Rift and continued with my original character from the quest. I found the captain and headed to the new area. However I want to go back! Is there any way to return back to Mithras?!?!

There is a way in all expansions, yes. However it's different in each one.

In Celtic Rift you can get back by talking to the Wind Spirit in Castle Loegria. I've no idea where that is, and how easy to get there. Someone else might answer that.

You can also get back by using Recall, if you've marked a spot in the base game.
