Game hanging on iphone4 in Magic Mountains

I am stuck in Lost Archipelagos, I've tired this a number of times and it happens every single time.
I am in the Magic Mountains next to the Lava Pits and while inside the mountains (Where map is denied) every time I attack a "Guard" my game just hangs. I have to restart the phone.
Has this happened to other iphone 4 users too?
Anyone has any solutions?
