Tabletop games

Okay so recently I've gotten into tabletop gaming and it's grown on me pretty quickly. I bought my first modern game (Carcassonne) like a year ago and now I find myself owning about 15 of them, varying in complexity, theme, style, etc.
I play solo most of the time because my friends, family and girlfriend aren't so enthusiastic about tabletop games, sadly, but hey, I still enjoy them very much.

Any other tabletop gamers on this forum?
Just thought I'd throw this in here and maybe we can start a discussion

I’ve played a few DnD sessions. It’s certainly enjoyable and more fun when you play with others who are experienced and can lead the session.

I'd love to try DnD sometime. Too bad you need several people to play it, but maybe I'll find some game room online where I can give it a shot. Based on the bulkiness of the rulebook, it must take years to master this game

It does take a while to master. I can tell the people I play with have been doing it for a while. They’re very comfortable role playing.
