Cloud Saves on Google Play not working properly

Hi everyone,

I recently discovered "The Quest" and I am so much in love with, well, everything. I bought all the expansion packs.

I recently bought a tablet as well and the idea is to play on the same save file both on my Android phone and Android tablet. But here is where there is a technical issue.

Even though Google Play tells me that the game has been saved, the save file on my tablet is totally different from the save file on my phone, even if I download the saves from the cloud. My character is the same, but that's about it.

To be clear, I am using the same Google account on the two devices and all the expansion packs are installed on both devices. What more can I do?

Unfortunately the cloud saves API doesn't give out many indicators, if the game doesn't show any errors then that's about it. Personally I can only think of trying to wait a bit and seeing if the save states synchronize properly. Maybe try and Google what people write about similar problems? (Though a cursory search didn't show much for me.) Sorry I can't be of more help.
