The Quest Gold crashing after IOS update

After updating to IOS 17.6, The Quest Gold no longer opens on iPhone. If you click the app; it crashes and nothing happens.

Let me know if I can provide more info, though there isn’t much more to it than that.

I've heard about it happening to a few people. I've been trying to find the cause but no luck so far. Obviously nothing changed in the app (and it should work). I have an iPhone Mini 13, updated to the latest iOS and no crashes there.

All I can suggest is after your phone is fully updated you uninstall and reinstall The Quest Gold. (You can save your save files using this information.

I just noticed this as well on my iphone14. Now Quest Classic Lost Archipelagos loads but as soon as I try to enable expansion into TQCG it crashes the gold. I could just play the expansion. My iphone 8+ still loads both. I haven't checked my ipad. I deleted the game and reinstalled but it crashed again. I'll try again but this is head scratching.

Yeah, I'm have this issue atm. I chose classic as it takes up less space than the upgraded newer version. I might try to buy the classic and each installment and see if that works. If not then I'll have to default to the newer version and compare which purchasable add-ons are available. TQGC does work on my old synced iphone8+ and older ipad so it isn't like it was a bad buy, I just am having issues currently on my iphone 14 promax. I'll run an ios update, uninstall TQGC, reinstall and see if that fixes it. Then I'll link lost archipelagos and check again. Btw, LA works fine by itself. (Shrug).
