iPad saves not saving Mark spots?

Just realized when I loaded my last save game that the Mark spots are not saved in the save game file. Is that how it should be ? (Seems odd if it is considering some quests take a journey to get to spots). I am on an iPad mini 2

They do work when I test them and no one else reported problems with them.

Are you sure you reloaded the correct save (after you've marked a spot)? Can you reproduce the problem? I mean loading a save, marking a spot, then saving into a separate slot, then reloading that later save and not finding the marked spot. If so, could you please send us a save? (The first save from the previous sentence. You can copy the save using iTunes and you can find our email address on our homepage.)
