When trying to open, says game has stoped working, Is there anyway around this to play game on this phone?

Sorry to hear it.

I see a crash from a "LGE LG K20 Plus (lv517), 1536MB RAM, Android 7.0", that might be yours.

What is strange that the crash happens because the game fails to load an image. Which means something is wrong with the files.

First, you could try restarting your phone and making sure that it's fully updated (in the Play Store app, make sure all your installed apps are updated, especially the Google Play Games app.)

Then try reinstalling the game. Now I'm not sure how the Play Store works in all cases, but I think enough time has passed that if you uninstall the game, it'll not try and refund it. A clean reinstall should hopefully help.
