I didn't know they were stolen! How awful! If you take the chest to Kindo the Keymaker and pay him 200 gold, he'll boost your lockpick skill by 5 and you'll get a little hint about Hero of Lukomorye I coming. : )

Great I might just do that!
I reloaded an earlier save after one chest opening (or return to the Lord), because I only got 1,000 gold whereas the chest was worth squillions more. However now I'm rich, it may be worth it

Yup, Some of those chest openings are random. : )
The Cat's Rocks thing was a joke that only someone who had played through the Luko expansions would get--I am obsessed with rocks. : ) Usually, they all get stolen.
