Waster’s ring shows an enchantability of 550 but only enchants to 500. I’m using an iPad. Can produce screen shots if needed.

Went back to double check and now it shows 500.

Got the screen shot for 550. Wonder why it changed....

You'd have to ask Elendil what other factors might affect that.
