Books. Drop or Keep?

I have a ton of books in my inventory. Can I just drop them after I read them. At least those I can't sell?

You can, though some of them get pretty important for quests so it's a good idea to keep them where you can find them (and where they won't get replaced by respawning items/despawn from time). If you've already completed the quests associated with those books, then I suppose it doesn't really matter unless you're sentimental about having keepsakes from previous quests.

Once you've read the book, the skill points are applied. You will not lose this bonus from selling the books, or dropping them. The only books you should bother keeping are ones with yellow names.
