Crashes on startup (android)

Im using zenfone 2 ze551ml 4gb, it just crashes as soon i launch it. "Unfortunately,The Quest has stopped".

I've just fixed (hopefully) a startup crash on Android 4.4 devices. Look for the update to version 1.8.11. Hopefully it'll work for you too.

It still crashes, im using android 6.0.1. Could be a problem with intel cpu?

Actually, yes. The game runs only on Arm processors.

As far as I know, you shouldn't have been able to download it... Did the Play Store say that it was compatible with your device?

In any case, I'll look into it how can we support Intel processors too. Hopefully it'll not be hard.

Yeah, it says my phone is compatible in google play. It shows the price and let me buy it.

Are you sure it's the latest update? Also, is there no "report" button?

Try to delete it and redownload it?

Yeah tried deleting and reinstalling, still the same. Also i sent a report after it crash.

It seems the game cannot initialize the graphics.

I'll soon upload an update with minor fixes (version 1.8.13). I've added detailed error reporting for the graphics initialization. So the game will still crash, but if you upload a crash report, it should give me more to go on.

I don't think the game does anything wrong (it hasn't crashed for anyone else with graphics initialization failure, as far as I know), so it's more likely the graphics driver in your device is buggy, sorry.

Still, I'll try to find a solution if I get the new crash report.

I also experience a crash at startup on an android 4.4.2 tablet. I've just sent a mail with logs retrieved from catlog tool.

If you can add me to the beta program, i'll be more than happy to test a new version potentially solving this issue.

With the dedicated help of Elendil, after several "beta" versions, the crash was finally diagnosed and about just a day after I reported it, the crash was solved!

We haven't received email from you about beta testing. Also the game has been out for a while on Android and we don't need any betatesters at the moment.
