Plants and herbs

Postby Rich1066 » Tue Jan 10, 2017 6:54 pm

Hi I am new to this game and just wondered how quickly plants and herbs in the wild grow back as trying to make some easy money by getting plants outside Mantra Village. Any help would be appreciated

From what i have seen, they dont grow back, once you pick / harvest any plant etc they will never grow back. I could be wrong and maybe the might grow back after a certain amount of time (VERY LONG amount of time) but i've completed the game and travel back to Matras once in a while to sell stuff and after 170 days of in game time the flowers in the Garden of Matras have yet to grow back.

All monsters and containers respawn (except special ones), but plants/flowers don't grow back. No idea why, probably don't even Stewe remembers. :)

But shops get new stock each (in game) day so you'll never run out of components for Alchemy.

I would suggest for the The Quest 2 to have the plants grow back maybe after 21-30 days of game time. This way it would give people incentive to go back and while they are there fight monsters again.

I believe the plants definitely should grow back in a week. Please add this to Quest 2.

The Bandits and young archers are a good way to make money, and not too hard to kill.

Also if u want plants keep on clearing out the Witch Lair. they always drop herbs and plants. But be sure to have a few cure poison potions or high resistance to poison as they love to spam you with poison attacks.

I'd say that clearing the Dungeon of Blood every 7 days is probably your best bet. Plus you'll get a lot of excellent equipment that you can actually use for your character too. :) I'd only recommend doing it two or three times though because it will start to get pretty boring.

Aside from that, definitely learn the Enchant spell as soon as possible. The magic shop sells it in Matras, so just do the save reload trick before entering the shop to rotate their inventory until you see one for purchase. Once you get that, you can also start making a little extra money by enchanting weapons and equipment before selling it. Depending on what you enchant it with, it can make a pretty significant difference (especially with the more powerful stuff later on).

After you get to around level 7 or 8 I'd definitely recommend checking out the Sunken Monastery. That place has ALL kinds of excellent loot drops! :D
