I don't see any stat change like increased STAR, decreased INT), ignoring small HP/SP recovery.
What's alcohol for then? For minor profiT only?

If you are drunk your stats change. Your strength and endurance increases while your intelligence, personality and dexterity decreases. But alcohol is mostly in the game for "flavor".

I remember the poor betatesters who had to test and retest one of our expansions and their intelligence level went so far down because of alcohol, they pleaded for a boost. : )
