Resting

Is there any place I can rest other than the tavern? Every time I try to rest it just says that I cannot rest here.

Just go outside of the town. You should be able to rest there.

Just be sureto kill any monsters around you first or try walking a bit away until the monster music stops then you can rest using your food and water you have.

One more question: in the shaman's skulls quest, it says that there is a hidden area on the northwest wall, activated by a button. I can't seem to find that button. Does anyone know where it is? Thanks.

Go west from the stairs leading to the pit of blood, then south, west over the spike trap, north over the spike trap and just right of the barrel.
