Jester's Skull

How do I get the Jester's skull? I think I had it, but then the game said I tripped and it broke into a million pieces. Then it gave me a Sack of Bones.

Try all the doors along the outside walls, someone will offer to mend it for you 
You have 20 save slots use them all. Save after every quest, save before going into a dungeon, save, save save!!

It's actually a skeleton woman in a house near the goblin beggar guy I think.
