Irish dance for fairies

I am clueless about the steps around the mushrooms &/or Irish dance. Help please.

Step on the southernmost mushrooms first.Then step on the mushrooms that are to the northeast of the southernmost mushrooms---then move left and go up one space to step on the mushrooms---then step on the mushrooms to your right--then step on the northernmost mushrooms.

And then step on the mushrooms you didn't step on. It's hard to do without a pic.

If you did it right you should see a rope to climb up.

Hi.

I did the dance, I get the message saying I got fairie kiss and rope to climb. I see the rope, it's a few paces west, by that cliff, but no matter what I try, I can't climb the rope. I'm playing on iOS if that matters. It's there is nothing in that square, nothing happens when I walk through it, tap on it, slash it, etc... Tried using knotted rope, but to no avail.
