Questions about expansions

Postby javimm » Sun Nov 11, 2012 7:35 pm

Hi.
First post here :-)
I bought the Gold edition the other day and I'm hooked beyond cure to this awesome game. Fantastic game and huge, what I love. Congratulations to the team for creating such a masterpiece :D .

I'd like to ask about the order I should take to complete the main game and expansions. I've read the suggested order somewhere, and the recommended order for the first expansions to get are Cursed Chess Set which I bought yesterday and Celtic Rift wich I'm planning to get.

My character is a Nogur. I'm on level 7, and I've done all the Matras region quests and explore it quite toroughly. My main route now would be going south to Vastares, but before my character becomes too powerful, I'd like to complete the mentioned expansions.

My questions are: I think my character is correctly leveled for the Cursed Chess Set expansion, so I'm think about doing it right now. Is this OK?.

After completing CCS expansion, will I be too powerful for Celtic Rift? Is it better to do them the other way around, first completing Rift and then Chess?. I know Rift is recommended for new characters, but could I wnjoy it this way too or will it be too easy?.

After completing both, will my character be too powerful for the main quest and the other expansions?

Cheers.
Thanks.

You can hop in and out of the base game and the expansions so my suggestion is that you start in the base game and go through Matras then hop to Cursed. Save your game. Finish Cursed and then try Celtic Rift or Mithril Horde I. Not II but I or Asteroids I.

You want to try to get to our Lukomorye series but to do that you have to be a higher level.
